TempMails is private by design because inbox access requires a secret session token, only its hash is stored on the server, remote message images are blocked, and mailbox data expires automatically.
“Ready in seconds” refers to creating the address, not a guarantee about outside senders. Your inbox opens immediately and uses a live connection for new-message alerts, with periodic refresh as a fallback; delivery time still depends on the website sending the email.

What is a temporary email?+
A temporary email is a short-lived, receive-only address that helps keep your primary inbox private. It is useful for low-risk verifications, downloads, and software testing where you do not want ongoing email.
Is TempMails free?+
Yes. You can create and use a temporary inbox without registration, a password, or payment.
Can it receive verification codes and OTP emails?+
It can receive standard email messages, including many verification links and email-based codes. Some websites block disposable domains, and TempMails cannot bypass a sender's security or phone-verification requirements.
Who can read my temporary inbox?+
Each newly created inbox is protected by a random private session token stored in your browser. Anyone who gains access to your device or session data could still open it, so never receive banking details, passwords, identity documents, or other sensitive information.
How long does an inbox last?+
A guest inbox lasts 10 minutes. Verified Google members can choose 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, or 60 minutes and may extend an eligible active member inbox up to the configured maximum. Any user can delete an inbox immediately when finished.
Can I choose my email address?+
Yes. Sign in with a verified Google account, then choose an available domain and a custom username using letters, numbers, dots, dashes, or underscores. The full address is reserved to that member account so another member cannot claim it.
Can temporary email send messages?+
No. TempMails is receive-only. Disabling outbound email reduces spam and abuse and keeps the product focused on disposable inbox privacy.
Why has my message not arrived?+
Confirm the complete address, wait for the automatic refresh, and check that the inbox is still active. Delivery can also fail when the sender blocks disposable domains or delays its outgoing email.
